Our story

About Luna Mare

Set beside Manhasset Bay, Luna Mare brings the generous spirit of the Mediterranean to Port Washington. The room feels polished but never precious: harbor light, crisp linen and a menu built around pristine seafood, vegetables from nearby farms and the kind of dishes meant to be passed around the table. Chef Elena Vassos draws on summers spent in the Greek islands and winters cooking in New York. Whole fish comes from the wood oven, breads arrive warm, and the bar leans into citrus, herbs and coastal wines.
